Do I need to provide a prescription or any other documents to order through your company?

All items listed as “Prescription Required” will require a valid prescription to process the order. In addition to this, there are some instances under which we will require additional documentation or information before we can process an order.

You will be promptly notified if we require anything more than your prescription.

 

How much medication can you supply at once?

Our pharmacies are able to dispense up to a 3 month supply of medication at a time.  If any refills are remaining on the prescription, it will be kept on your profile until you are ready to refill with us again.

If I don’t see my medication on your website, does that mean it is not available?

We may be able to source a drug that is not currently listed on our website. If you don’t see the drug you are looking for, please call us at 1-833-313-3173 or initiate a chat with one of our knowledgeable customer care representatives.

What is the difference between brand and generic drugs?

The biggest difference between most brand name drugs and their generics is that the brand product costs significantly more.

 

Brand and generic drugs are therapeutically and chemically equivalent. Generic drugs are required to have the same active ingredient, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as the brand name product. Trademark laws require the drugs to look different, so the generic version may be a different color, a different shape, have a different taste, or contain inactive ingredients that are different.

 

Is it only Canadian drugs that are supplied or do the drugs come from other countries as well?

Not all products you order will be shipped from Canada. We affiliate with pharmacies and fulfillment centers in the following jurisdictions that ship products to our customers: United Kingdom and Canada.

 

Can the country from which a drug is supplied/shipped be different from the country that the drug is manufactured?

Yes, it can be. For example, not all drugs sold in retail US and Canadian pharmacies are made in the US or Canada. Many generics that American and Canadian retail pharmacies sell may be sourced from India, Israel, European Union and possibly other countries as well. Even for many brand name drugs, while the manufacturer of the drug may be an American or European company, for a variety of reasons, the drug itself may be manufactured outside of the US or Europe.

 

Why do the pills I received have a different name than the ones I get at my local pharmacy?

In some cases, drug companies may brand the same drugs under different names in different countries. As such, the product(s) you receive may have a different brand name than the US brand name; however, they will contain the exact same medicinal ingredients in the same strengths.

What is a Parallel Import?

Parallel import allows for the importation of goods from one European country to another European country.  In this case, the drugs are made in various European countries and imported for sale into the United Kingdom.  There are no differences in the formulation or active ingredients of the drug from one country to the other.  There can be differences in the packaging and appearance of the drug such as color and shape.  Some drugs will have a different trade name (Brand name) in the different countries.  Like all drugs in the UK, parallel import drugs are regulated by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) to ensure quality, safety and efficacy.  Drugs with non-english packaging are overlaid with a label in English.  This is a standard practice in the UK.

How much am I charged for shipping?

We offer free ground shipping to everywhere in the US. For orders outside of the US, please review detailed information below regarding this or contact us at 1-833-313-3173 to speak with a customer service representative for details.

 

Once I have placed my order, how long does it take before my order will actually be shipped?

After your order is placed and we have received complete order information, it will take approximately 1- 3 business days (Mon-Fri excluding US Holidays) to process your order and once processed, your order will be shipped.

 

Why does it take 3 business days for you to process my order before it is shipped?

Before your order is shipped, we need to verify and review your medical information, prescription, payment, availability of stock and then route the order to the appropriate facility for shipping. The pharmacist at the facility that will ship the order will then perform a second check of your prescription. After this, your drugs will be picked from inventory, labeled, checked again by the pharmacist to ensure you are getting the correct drug/dosage and then finally packed for shipping.

We do our best to complete all this within 1 – 3 business days!

Remember, if we have not received your prescription or there is a problem with your payment, we cannot start the order processing discussed above which will result in a delay in your order being shipped.

 

What is the estimated delivery time to receive my order?

Once the order is shipped, the delivery time is typically 10 to 14 business days but we endeavor to get your order to you within 30 business days or less.

 

We do advise our patients to place an order for their medication(s) as far in advance as possible, at least 30 days prior to when the medication will be needed.

 

Why does it take 10 to 14 business days for my order to arrive once it is shipped when I get other items I order online so much faster?

Every day millions of parcels coming into the US have to clear U.S. Customs and this can take some time. Parcels shipped from within the USA don’t have to go through the border control procedures and thus arrive sooner.

 

In rare cases, a shipment can arrive outside the standard delivery time. There are a number of factors outside of our control which can play a role. For example, there can be longer than normal delays at U.S. Customs during busy seasons such as in December and early January due to the large number of packages crossing the border, changes to parcel screening and shipping protocols for security reasons and inclement weather affecting flights carrying international mail.

By shipping your orders from places located outside the US, you benefit from lower pricing than what local pharmacies charge. We trust the savings is worth the wait!

 

Do you offer expedited, overnight or 2 day delivery?
Expedited shipping is available from some of our dispensaries. We currently do not offer overnight or 2 day delivery. Please check with a customer service representative for more information before placing your order.

 

How do I track my order?

Do you ship to countries outside of the United States?

Yes, we do, with a few exceptions.

If you are ordering from outside of the United States, one of our customer services representatives will contact you regarding shipping to your specific location once you have created an order with us. Please ensure there are at least two ways to contact you, as your order will not be processed until we can confirm the order with you.

Please note we are unable to ship to the following countries; Accra, Belarus, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivroy Coast), Cuba, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar (Burma), Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yugoslavia and Zimbabwe.

Customers who reside in the United Kingdom and who would like their order shipped from the United Kingdom, please contact us before placing your order.

 

How much to ship to my location?

Shipping cost vary based on the dispensary the medication is being shipped from and the country the medication will be shipped to. Please contact us by email or via chat with the following information and we will contact you back within 24 hours on any working day with the details.

How do I know that the order has been shipped?

Once the order is shipped, we send confirmation by email.

 

How long will my order take to arrive? (Customers who reside outside of the US)

 

Once shipped, your medication(s) depending on your location may take over 4 weeks to arrive at your residence. You will be given an expected delivery time by email. Please note, this is an estimate only. Due to customs delays and other factors outside of our control, orders may take longer to arrive. PremiumRx will not be held responsible for any delays that may occur.   We do advise our patients to place an order for their medication(s) as far in advance as possible, approximately 30-45 days prior to when the medication will be needed.

 

PremiumRx cannot be held responsible for any possible duties and taxes that may be applied by customs in the country where the delivery is made. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed, will rest with the customer.

Policies

Will you ship any prescription medications?

We will not facilitate the sale or shipping of any narcotics or controlled substances. At this time we also do not ship medications which require refrigeration.

 

Can you transfer my prescription from my local US pharmacy as I may have refills there?

We are unable to transfer prescriptions from US pharmacies.

 

However, you can ask your doctor’s office to directly fax us a new prescription to save yourself a visit to the doctor. Most doctors are happy to do so. If you prefer, we can also contact your doctor’s office and ask them to fax us a new prescription for you.

 

Please note that doctor’s offices can take up to 3 to 5 business days to respond to our requests for new prescriptions, so it may be quicker if you call them.

 

How long is my prescription valid?

Once filled, prescriptions are valid and usable within one year from the date the prescription was written.

 

Will you accept my insurance?

We are unable to process a claim directly with your insurance company.

 

Do you fill orders for pets?

Yes, we can provide medication for your pet as long as you have a valid prescription.
